This $20 fine silver coin by Canadian Artist Ann C. Morash features a brightly coloured Easter egg. Each colour has a symbolic meaning. Yellow stands for youth and purity; red represents the joy and passion of life; green is the colour of spring and brings hope and renewal; black suggests the darkest before dawn, and the idea of eternity. At the top and bottom of the egg are large flowers, which symbolize love, goodwill and the beauty of nature. The flowers are framed by bands of waves, symbolizing water’s life-giving properties. Under the waves at the top are stylized sun and stars which symbolize life, fortune and growth.
