Canadian Expeditionary Force - Pure Silver Coin

The illustration on this coin is done by noted Canadian artist Scott Waters. In the foreground is a lone, kneeling solider. A tired line of soldiers is silhouetted in the background as they march wearily ahead; behind them, a convoy of ships sits on the horizon, symbolizing the ships that first brought Canadian soldiers to the war zone in 1914. The image is finished with a Maple Leaf Crest Cap Badge towards the bottom of the coin, which references the CEF in particular and makes the specific tribute known. The coin contains just over one ounce of pure silver, and has a limited mintage of 10,000.
