This 1964 silver dollar commemorates the centennial of the 1964 meetings held in Charlottetown, P.E.I, and Quebec City, Quebec which eventually led to Canada's Confederation in 1967. The reverse dons a design which incorporates the French fleur-de-lis, the Irish shamrock, the Scottish thistle and the English rose, joined within a circle. This particular specimen coin reveals a frosted cameo strike, maintaining beautiful detail in the well-struck relief designs. The recessed fields showcase overall neutral toning, with a slight hue of violet, accenting the patina. A beautiful specimen with fantastic appeal.
