A very collectible tradition, begun in 2004, continues this year with a unique tribute to another member of Canada’s diverse avian wildlife. The common eider is the largest duck in the northern hemisphere, found virtually anywhere along Canada’s eastern and northern coasts. The common eider is gregarious and may nest in colonies of 10,000 or more.
